Standing Offer for Property Assessment Surveys

Homes NSW is one of the largest Government portfolios in Australia, with over 130,000 properties and is responsible for the management and supply of the social housing portfolio within NSW.  A key strategic objective of the Business Plan is to provide a better experience for social housing tenants.

To achieve this objective, Homes NSW must be provided with accurate and up-to-date information on the status of its properties. Subsequently, Homes NSW can then make informed decisions on prioritising the delivery of regular and reactive maintenance and capital works, to maintain the properties as per the established Asset Standards. This will bring fit for purpose dwellings along with improved tenant satisfaction, for all those living in Homes NSW properties.

Since 2012, the Property Assessment Survey (PAS) Program has been successfully providing Homes NSW with ongoing property information, which presents a clear picture of the current status and condition of all tenanted social housing properties.

As the existing PAS standing offer agreements expire on 3 December 2024, Homes NSW would like to inform providers of an exciting opportunity to participate in this upcoming new standing offer agreement (SOA) to deliver property assessment surveys.

The service providers will be sourced through a selective process under the Prequalification Scheme (SCM1191) for Consultants in Construction up to $9M Consultancy Fees. All interested service providers are encouraged to register as certified consultants under Work Category 226 Property Assessment Surveys and Detailed Property Assessment Surveys.
