TAFE NSW

Strategic Procurement Outlook

TAFE NSW is Australia's leading provider of vocational education and training with over 500,000 annual enrolments, and a reputable history for setting the benchmark for quality service. We play a vital role in providing vocational education in rural and regional NSW, and job training pathways for some of the most vulnerable people in the community. The Procurement function drives value for money through governance and compliance, gaining efficiencies, managing categories of spend centrally, and managing procurement initiatives effectively to realise sustainable benefits. Procurement focuses on three core portfolio areas including corporate goods and services, ICT, and property where we develop pipelines, support key stakeholders and deliver aggregated category strategies. In FY22 and FY23, TAFE NSW Procurement will continue support vocational education in corporate goods and services by releasing procurements for laptop lending and promotional products. It is also expected that procurement activities will occur around property and capital works, as well as ICT.
