icare has formulated a series of critical success factors against which the success of the Legal Panel will be assessed. Those success factors are:

• stakeholder needs and relationships

• timeliness and effectiveness

• value for money

 

The Principal is expecting the selected Law Firms to contribute to the success of the panel against those success factors by demonstrating the following characteristics:

 

• defines and executes strategies that avoid claims advancing to litigation where appropriate

• delivers quality advise utilising deep technical and government related expertise

• increases the legal risk management across icare, agency businesses s in the end-to-end lifecycle of litigated claims.

• manages the needs of and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders effectively

• delivers sufficient value for money through a commercial model that has moved beyond charging for time to justify the amount of time and money spent
