Sydney Metro West – Independent Certifier - SM 2020/024

Sydney Metro is conducting an Industry Briefing for the Sydney Metro West Independent Certifier role prior to the release of the Expression of Interest in late September / early October 2020.

 The Independent Certifier (IC) will certify:

 ·Design Stage 3 (i.e. that approved for construction designs have been completed in accordance with contractual scope and requirements); and

Construction phase services including the key milestones, portions and construction completion) have been delivered in accordance with their contracts including the Foundation Infrastructure Works (FIW) completion for the delivery packages.

 Organisations interested in the Independent Certifier role are invited to register to attend an Industry Briefing on 29 September 2020. The Industry Briefing will cover the following topics:

 • Sydney Metro West overview

 • Independent Certifier overview

 • Relevant commercial and transaction management information

Organisations that would like to participate in the Industry Briefing will be required to register. 

 To register, Organisations must:

 ·Submit a Confidentiality Deed Poll (signed and dated); and

 ·Confirm the names, email address and role title of attendees.

 Completed Confidentiality Deed Polls, names, email addresses and role titles are to be submitted to the Contact Officer via the SydneyMetroWest_IC@transport.nsw.gov.au email address.

 In order to participate in the Industry Briefing, Organisations must register by no later than by 12:00pm on Monday 28 September 2020

Organisations that are interested in attending the Industry Briefing are to demonstrate that they meet the following criteria:

• The Organisation has undertaken an Independent Certifier role on a rail infrastructure project value equal to or greater than $50 million within the last five years.

 Sydney Metro retains the right to accept or reject registrants to the Industry Briefing at its sole discretion.
