Request For Tender for T62-22 CBCity Playgrounds Upgrade Works

A mandatory tender briefing will be held at 10:00 am on 5th April 2022. 

All sites are be self-inspected prior to this meeting. Any questions can be addressed at the tender briefing.

Location of Tender Briefing: Ground Floor of Civic Tower, 66-72 Rickard Road Bankstown NSW 2200.

 Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for T62-22 CBCity Playgrounds Upgrade Works, which incorporates Playground upgrades and associated works at:

(1)     Canterbury Park Playground

(2)     Earlwood Oval Playground

(3)     Ludgate Reserve Playground

(4)     Padstow Park Playground

(5)    Punchbowl Park Playground

(6)     Peace Park Playground

(7)     RM Campbell Reserve Combined Projects

(8)     Riverwood Wetlands Youth Space – 1

(9)     Riverwood Wetlands (Karne Street) Playground (Softfall) Upgrade – 2 (to be delivered after June 30 2022)

(10)  Cullens Road Reserve Playground

(11)  James Folster Reserve Playground

This Request for Tender (RFT) integrates upgrades and works for the aforementioned playgrounds each as separable portions. Tenderers may respond to this RFT based on the entirety of works, or as individual projects. All projects may be awarded to one suitably qualified and experienced contractor or split amongst those who tender. This will be dependent on the submitted prices and programs.

A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request. The proposed contract is for a period of 6 weeks, with works commencing Monday, 09 May 2022. The proposed practical completion date for the works is 24 June 2022.

Council will not consider a Tender lodged by a Tenderer who fails to sign the attendance sheet at this briefing or fails to ensure that a representative of the Tenderer signs the attendance sheet on its behalf.
