We are seeking proposals from businesses interested in providing Preliminary Design and Technical Advisory Services for the Prospect Water System Pre-Treatment Plant.
The successful supplier will be an integral part of the project of supporting the design development, procurement and delivery phases of the project through engineering design, technical input and assurance. The successful supplier will work alongside Sydney Water and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and successful delivery of the Prospect Water System Pre-Treatment plant.
The role is critical in supporting Sydney Water to best manage the delivery of this project. The successful supplier will be focused on delivering the outcomes and expected benefits of the Project.
The successful supplier will be required to work with Sydney Water to undertake the following tasks:
• Prepare a Preliminary Design for the Prospect Water System Pre-Treatment Plant
• Undertake site investigations and studies to inform the Preliminary Design
• Undertake specialist studies to inform the environmental impact assessment (which will carried out by Sydney Water)
• Provide Technical and Engineering Advisory across the Prospect Water System Pre-Treatment Plant project
• Support Sydney Water in understanding risks and opportunities specific to the Prospect Water System Pre-Treatment Plant project including mitigation strategies

This information will be used to determine if the supplier appears to initially meet requirements and will be worth considering for participation in a sourcing event.
Once the form has been returned and deemed to comply with the requirements of the RFT, a Confidentiality Agreement will be issued and must be returned prior to gaining access to the RFT documents.
Tender activities are conducted using the Ariba Network. Selected suppliers must complete the self-registration process Sydney Water's Ariba system. Completing self-registration does not make you a supplier to Sydney Water, nor does it guarantee you will receive a contract or purchase order from Sydney Water.
Sydney Water operates pre-qualification processes and only invites successful participants through to participation in tender activities. To be considered for participation, you must complete a pre-qualification process prior to the commencement of a tender. Late submissions cannot be considered to proceed.
Conditions for Participation
Suppliers interested in participating must meet the following criteria:
• Previous experience providing engineering design services relating to Potable Water, Water Filtration, Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment and/or Desalination
• Previous experience providing technical advisory services for Client organisations on major infrastructure projects
• Accredited safety management system to ISO AS/NZS 45001 or the Office of Federal Safety Commission
• Accredited quality management system to ISO AS/NZS 9001
• Accredited environmental management system to ISO A/NZS 14001
