NPWS is inviting EOI submissions from suitably qualified individuals or businesses to provide high-quality guided nature-based and cultural experiences for clients wishing to visit the Worimi Conservation Lands.
The Worimi Conservation Lands, located in Port Stephens and 2.5 hours’ drive north of Sydney, is a place abundant in Aboriginal cultural history, providing unique cultural landscapes that are highly significant to the Worimi community, and is an important part of their cultural and spiritual identity. Adjoining the northern end of the Worimi Conservation Lands are the Worimi LALC freehold lands that consistently have the highest concentration of commercial tourism activities in the landscape.
The Worimi Conservation Lands Board of Management and Worimi LALC are offering a select number of tour operators to deliver experiences that provide captivating, memorable and sustainable nature-based and cultural experiences. Respondents are required to have the capacity to manage and promote the experience, appreciate the cultural significance of the land, deliver safe operations with suitably qualified and professional guides and ensure environmental and cultural considerations are upheld across the operations.
