Sydney Water is inviting Tenders for the Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Spare Parts of Ultraviolet (UV) Systems at Wastewater Plants.
Sydney Water provides water and wastewater services to customers located in its area of operations covering Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Illawarra. Sydney Water undertakes a range of maintenance and upgrades on its water and wastewater infrastructure assets.
An open market request for tenders (RFT) will be issued by Sydney Water in the next two weeks for the Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Spare Parts of Ultraviolet (UV) Systems at Wastewater Plants
This RFT is for Shared Purchasing under the Partnering for Success (P4S) delivery model being established by Sydney Water. Under the P4S model there are three regional delivery consortia (RDC) to deliver design, construction and maintenance services respectively across the three geographical Regions (North, South and West) within Sydney Water’s area of operations.
The successful tenderers will be required to enter into contracts with Sydney Water and the three RDC for delivery of the scope over the term of the contracts.
Sydney Water’s objective is to standardise the current UV System with a strategic prioritisation plan for replacements, renewals and new installations. The RFT will require the tenderers to respond to six (6) supply packages.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply and or manufacturing of UV Systems.
- Minimum 5 years in Maintenance of UV Systems.
- Can demonstrate that parts for UV Systems will be stocked in NSW.
- Can demonstrate Technical Experience will be based in NSW.

If you are interested in participating, you must download the attached Ariba registration form and return to Sydney Water and complete the registration process. Sydney Water operates pre-qualification processes and only invites successful participants through to participation in tender activities. To be considered for participation, you must have completed the pre-qualification process prior to the commencement of a tender. Late submissions cannot be considered to proceed.
As with the pre-qualification process, the tender activity will be conducted using the Ariba system. You must be able to complete a registration process in Ariba once you have been advised by the Sydney Water contact.
All request for tender documents will be shared in Ariba once you have been invited to participate in the tender.

As with the pre-qualification process, the tender activity will be conducted using the Ariba system. You must be able to complete the registration process and profile questionnaire in Ariba once you have been advised and within 48 hours of receipt of the link. We do not utilise the ‘Tenderbox’ functionality of the eTendering website, nor do we accept tenders in person at the Sydney Water head office.

There may be a requirement to complete a separate safety prequalification check, either during the tender or post-award. These checks are conducted via a third party system (Beakon) and the supplier may bear costs payable to the third party for this service.
