This RFP relates to the procurement of medical service provider(s) to conduct Health Monitoring and Health Assessments for TfNSW workers.

- Health Monitoring is the assessment of the workers' medical status by clinical, biochemical, imaging or instrumental testing to detect any clinically relevant, occupationally dependent change of a single worker's health.
- Health Assessment is the assessment of the workers' physical, psychological and medical health by both Allied Health Professionals and Medical Officers The Health Assessment program assesses and manages the fitness for work of safety critical workers to meet the implicit obligations under the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2011 (NSW) and WHS Regulation 2017

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
