Tender Details

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) are seeking Tender submissions from suitably qualified Consultants or Contractors for the supply and management of engineering, detailed design, fabrication, demolition and construction services for the demolition and replacement of 3 pedestrian footbridges in the Copeland Tops State Conservation Area, Copeland NSW 2422. The bridges range in length from 8m to 12m, will be 1.5m wide, constructed with HDG Steel superstructure and will utilise the existing concrete abutments. The sites are remote and are restricted to limited 4WD access and manual handling for materials and equipment movement.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

A non-mandatory (Highly recommended) pre-tender site meeting will be held on site at Copeland Tops State Conservation Area – Day use area carpark:

Thursday 28th May 2020 – 11.30am

NOTE: The meeting will be held at the Copeland Tops SCA day use area carpark and has only been deemed non mandatory due to COVID-19 restrictions, if tenderers do not feel comfortable with attending the meeting, please contact the clients representative to advise.

 

The site is a unique site and to appreciate the location, terrain and logistical challenges, it is highly recommended that the site is inspected, private inspections may be arranged with adequate notice.

The Contact Person will be available at that time to answer any tenderer’s queries regarding the RFT. It is mandatory that a tenderer representative registers and attends the site meeting to gain an appreciation of the site.

 

Tenderers are required to notify the Contact Person to register for the site inspection. Please register by COB Wednesday, 27th of May 2020.
