Captains Flat – Clay Rich Capping, Rock, Topsoil and Subsoil - P22-4244

The Legacy Mines Program (LMP) within the Department of Regional NSW has engaged the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) as lead contractor to undertake remediation works at the legacy Lake George Mine. The mine is located immediately West of the township of Captains Flat, New South Wales (NSW). 

We are establishment of a panel to supply clay rich capping material, rock, topsoil and subsoil materials in line with technical specification to be provided by SCS and the superintendent.

Scope

The Successful tendered will be required to: 

-       Provision of Clay Rich Capping material (VENM / ENM), Rock. Topsoil and Subsoils for remediation works at 

the Captain's Flat Mine site, Captains Flat.

-       Provide all necessary machinery and labour to effect delivery of Clay Rich Capping material (VENM / ENM), 

Rock, Topsoil and Subsoils for remediation works at the Captain's Flat Mine site, Captains Flat.

Requirements

All materials must be provided at the site location being Corner Miner Rd. & Old Mines Rd.

Materials to be supplied and delivered to onsite works at Captains Flat Mine must:

-Be delivered in a reasonable time frame to fit in with scheduled placement works and stockpile limits

-Be delivered to designated laydown / stockpile area onsite

Material Volumes:

-Rock (Mulch) = 17,489 tonnes

-Clay rich fill = 10,000 tonnes

-Subsoil = 39,362 tonnes

-Topsoil = 18,646 tonnes

Please note: all submissions will be considered for singular product or part supply of tonnage requirements above.

If the principal engages with your company for more than $3M, we will require you to complete the Aboriginal SME and Local Participation Plan.

Potential materials shall be subjected to verification testing.

Materials need to meet the following requirements in Part D - Statement of Requirement.
