There is approximately 600m2 of total retail space available on the Ground Floor of the Macquarie Street Building, Sydney.

This area is currently occupied by the Library Café, a small Bookshop and an auditorium. A new theatre is under construction elsewhere in the building; this will allow the reconfiguration of this area. The Library’s vision is for an integrated bookshop (selling both new and second hand books) and café together with the capacity to provide catering for functions that are held in the Library’s many venue hire spaces.
