"P22-4679 - Burrinjuck Nature Reserve Quarry Products

Fire Trail Access Fire Trail program within the Burrinjuck Nature Reserve.

SCS has been engaged by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) to upgrade Strategic and Tactical Fire Trails within the Burrinjuck Nature Reserve to improve park access to meet NPWS obligations as a firefighting authority and to improve suppression of wildfires and coordination if firefighting Acts to support the conservation objectives under the National Parks and Wildlife Act (1974) (NPWS Act).

Duration approximately 16 weeks (weather permitting).

Scope

-50mm roadbase approximately 11,300 tonnes delivered to site. 

Requirements

Supply and deliver -50mm roadbase, approximately 11,300 tonnes. Delivery point on Burrinjuck Road, entry from Childowla Fire Trail. Materials brought to sight must be Virgin Excavated Natural Material (VENM), free of weeds and contamination.

Resheet materials meeting RMS DGB/DGS specification will be accepted, however these specifications are not mandatory

The contractor shall provide material test reports for resheet material in accordance with the table in Part D - Statement of Requirements.

Duration of the project is approximately mid December 2022 till mid February 2023, weather permitting."
