Tender Details

The Minyon Falls precinct on Minyon Falls Road includes a lookout, various walking track options, a nearby campground and various day use facilities. The precinct is an important tourism asset in the Tweed – Byron – Lismore region and enjoys typical visitation numbers of approximately 200,000 annually. The imminent completion of a new lookout and a planned new multi-day walking track accessible from the precinct are two strong drivers for increased visitation to the site, anticipated to reach up to 400,000 annual visitors within the next five years.

Improvements to the day use area will increase the capacity of the precinct and help enhance the visitor experience.

The purpose of this Request For Tender (RFT) is to select a suitably qualified contractor to complete upgrades to the Minyon Falls day use area (DUA).
