NSW NPWS Rewilding Program – Fencing Materials - SR282663405

 

This request for tender (RFT) is for the Supply of Goods only as detailed in the RFT documents.

 

The NPWS plans to establish four feral predator free areas across New South Wales, in the following locations:

 

 

 

• Ngambaa Nature Reserve, near Macksville on the North Coast of NSW (3,000 ha, 30 km perimeter);

• South East Forest National Park, near Nungatta on the South Coast of NSW (2,000 ha, 30 km perimeter);

• Western Sydney (500 ha, 15 km perimeter); and

• Yathong Nature Reserve, near Cobar in Central West NSW (40,000 ha, 105 km perimeter).

 

 

 

The final location for the western Sydney and South Coast sites will be advised following further assessment and consultation with local stakeholders.

 

 

 

The project will facilitate the reintroduction of threatened and declining animal species and restoration of ecosystem function and processes.
