The department seeks the services of a consultant to develop a spatially-explicit water source characterisation model that can identify multiple water sources with similar qualities and attributes and assign a similarity score to them. The model will be used to plan and implement efficient environmental monitoring activities, and apply the results from activities in one water source to other similar water sources. The model results will also be used in stakeholder engagement to justify the department’s monitoring activities and decision-making framework across NSW.
