Sydney Water provides freshwater, stormwater and wastewater services to customers located in its area of operations covering Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Illawarra.

We are seeking proposals from businesses interested in providing Technical Advisory Services to the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre (AWRC).

A Technical Advisor is required as an integral part of supporting the development of the procurement and delivery process through third party technical input and assurance, utilising Subject Matter Expertise. The Technical Advisor will work alongside Sydney Water and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and successful delivery of the Upper South Creek Project outcomes within the specific timeframe and budget.

The Technical Advisor role is critical in supporting Sydney Water to best manage the risks, pertinent to major projects of the size, complexity and significance of Upper South Creek. The Technical Advisor will be focused on delivering the outcomes and expected benefits of the Project as well as future proofing and readying our business for future opportunities and technologies.

The Technical Advisor will be required to work with Sydney Water to provide expertise in the following key areas:

•Understand the overall intentions and future aspirations of the Upper South Creek Project

•Provide Technical and Engineering Advisory across the Upper South Creek Project

•Support Sydney Water in understanding risks and opportunities specific to the Upper South Creek project including mitigation strategies

•Provide Subject Matter Expertise as required

•TOTEX evaluations

•Assessment impacts of technical proposals, decisions and changes

•Stakeholder interface management

•Technical & commercial interface management

•Support Sydney Water in the realisation of potential benefit opportunities

•Conduct future proofing reviews and provide recommendations

Completing self-registration does not make you a supplier to Sydney Water, nor does it guarantee you will receive a contract or purchase order from Sydney Water.

Sydney Water operates pre-qualification processes and only invites successful participants through to participation in tender activities. To be considered for participation, you must complete a pre-qualification process prior to the commencement of a tender. Late submissions cannot be considered to proceed.
