The scope of the deliverables will include the following:

• Personal Computers
• Notebook/Tablet Computers
• Thin Client Terminals
• Entry Level (Intel/AMD) Workgroup Servers
• Ruggedised Notebook Computers
• Personal Data Assistants (PDAs)
• Pre-Installed operating software required for proper operation of the Tendered Deliverable (including third party operating software)
• Peripherals and accessories (e.g. eg Monitors, Memory Sticks, Security Cables, Server Racks, Tape Drive/Library) for the above tendered products (note: can be offered only where computers are tendered), and
• Installation, loading of SOE and applications, decommissioning, and supplier takeback services.

Obtaining the required Dmax Lite software:

The RFT documents are made available in ".DTT" format only. This format is specific to the software, 'DMax Lite', that is manufactured by 'DecisionMax Pty Ltd'.

With the downloaded RFT document (.DTT) file there is a file named: READ_ME_FIRST.pdf
This file contains important initial instructions regarding obtaining and using the DecisionMAX software Dmax Lite.

Please note and act on the following -

To open the RFT documents and to prepare your tender you will need to use the 'Dmax Lite' software.

If you do not already have a current and licenced copy of 'Dmax Lite' software, a copy of the software can be purchased and downloaded from the software company web site: DecisionMAX downloads

Interested but not sure whether you wish to participate?

At the DecisionMAX downloads link above you may also download a free DMAX HTML READER to read the html tender documents. With the downloaded RFT documents there is also a file named TenderView 0501837.DHT which is a copy of the RFT document that is viewable with the reader, however you cannot prepare the tender using this version

If after viewing the viewable copy of RFT document you not not wish to participate you need not respond to any addenda or notices subsequently issued.

To then use the DMAX software for your tender a full version must be downloaded and a licence must be purchased from DecisionMax Pty Ltd.

Lodging a tender:

Your completed tender in the required software format MUST be lodged electronically via this RFT web page.
Click on the blue "LODGE A RESPONSE" link at the bottom of this page and follow the on-screen instructions.
As the tenderer you must be a registered user of this tendering web site.

Other PC requirements:
This web site has been optimised for the Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator web browsers. The minimum requirements are as follows - IE version 5.5 or later, Firefox 1.0, Netscape Navigator Ver 4.7 or later - with Cipher Strength = 128bit.
