Tender Details

The Botanic Gardens Trust (BGT), administered under the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust) Act (1980) is responsible for all the property within the boundaries of the Domain and Royal Botanic Gardens.

The Domain Car Park is located on the eastern fringe of the Sydney CBD to the west of Woolloomooloo. The Domain Car Park is located at the southern end of the Domain and is bordered by Sir John Young Crescent and St Marys Road.

At present, the Domain Car Park is leased until 30 April 2008. It is the intention of the BGT to negotiate lease terms with a Successful Proponent, in order to create a new lease to start from 1st May 2008. Furthermore, the BGT requires the Successful Proponent to enter into a Development Agreement to undertake agreed enhancements to the Domain Car Park and surrounds.

The Project for which Proponents are invited to submit a response has essential components and other optional components.

Short-listed Proponents are invited to submit a Detailed Proposal for the Project including essential components and optional components.


Access to this RFT is restricted to invited firms only.

Pre-Qualified / Invited - Only those directly invited to tender, may obtain an RFT for the purpose of lodging a tender response. Generally an invitation from a pre-qualified register of approved tenderers who have the ability to undertake the particular work or type of work proposed, a limited number of service providers are known to carry out the work or service (or in emergency or other restricted situations). Tenderers have usually been pre-qualified, accredited, or selected for the type of work and financial range. Competitive bids called from a standing offer (panel / period) contracts would also use this type.

Obtaining the Documents
To access the RFT documents and to lodge a response you must first use the Access Password provided to you by the contact officer.

Lodging a Response
Your completed tender should be lodged as allowed in the RFT Document, however, it may usually be lodged electronically via this web page.
As the tenderer you must be a Registered user of this system.
Click on the blue LODGE ON RESPONSE link at the bottom of this page, using the Access Password, then using your system Username / Password and follow the on-screen instructions to be taken to the lodging screen to submitt your electronic tender response.
