Tender Details

The Department of Corrective Services, in line with its policy of providing a safe, secure and humane transport for inmates, has designed a range of Inmate Escort Vehicles to carry different classification of inmates to and from courts and between correctional centres.

From time to time the Department needs to acquire additional Inmate Escort Vehicle bodies and to refurbish existing vehicles in its fleet.
In order to save time to procure vehicle bodies, and to reduce tendering costs for both the Department and industry this RFT seeks to establish a standing offer contract for the manufacture and refurbishment of Inmate Escort Vehicles to the specifications contained herein.

This tender covers the Department of Corrective Services requirement for manufacture, fitting and refurbishment of Inmate Escort vehicle bodies which includes the construction of transport bodies and fitting to vehicles to be supplied by the Department.
