Croydon Park Precinct Upgrade - T21-23

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the for the Design and Construction of Croydon Park Precinct upgrade.

All drawings, reports and specifications provided with this RFT are to be used as information only. The contractor is required to design, certify and construct the upgrade works at Croydon Park.

A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request for Tender.

The scope of works generally includes:

Separable Portion 1:

• Design and construction of the playing field/sports field including incorporation of Separable Portion 2 & 3 into the design.

• Removal and disposal of the existing turf (to be sprayed), redundant structures such as fencing and associated in-ground services as required and landscaping (plants and garden beds).

• Supply and installation of equipment and infrastructure including ball screen fences, goal posts, irrigation and drainage and water tank.

• Landscaping including laying of new turf.

• Periodic Maintenance of the field after construction of the sports field – twelve (12) mowing events to the playing surface as well as the fence line and its surrounds as directed by CBC Council officers.

• Provision of As-Built plans, maintenance manuals, warranties, product information, and certifications.

Separable Portion 2:

• Incorporation of the seating replacement into the design for the sport field rehabilitation.

• Demolition of existing seats, replacement and installation of new seating as specified.

• Construction of concrete pads.

• Landscaping including returfing of surrounding area as specified.

Separable Portion 3:

• Supply and installation of mulch.

• Sandstone repair works including the removal of damaged sandstone edging and relaying of the concrete footing.
