Sydney Metro requires an Ecological Restoration Specialist to assist with the delivery of Corridor Landscape Works for the Western Sydney Airport Line.
Sydney Metro need to source a qualified individual or team with appropriate technical knowledge, skills and experience in the restoration of Cumberland Plain vegetation communities (referred to as ‘Ecological Restoration Specialist’ or ‘ERS’) to provide ecological restoration support in respect of the Corridor Landscape Work (CLW) for Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport (SMWSA).
The ERS will develop a Landscape Plan of Management during the Ecological Planning and Design Phase as well as support Sydney Metro in packaging and procuring the CLW Delivery Contract(s). When the landscape delivery and management/maintenance scope is awarded to one or more dedicated ecological restoration or bush regeneration contractors, the ERS scope will transition to the Ongoing Monitoring Phase.

Conditions for Participation
The following minimum requirements apply to this Tender:
1.Experience & capability
The Tenderer must demonstrate that one or more of its Key Personnel has a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the restoration of Cumberland Plain plant communities (as opposed to general landscaping in Western Sydney).
2.Tertiary Qualifications
The Tenderer must demonstrate that one or more of its Key Personnel has tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Restoration Ecology, Natural Resource Management, Applied Science, Biology, Botany, Horticulture, or equivalent.
3.Professional memberships
The Tenderer must demonstrate that one or more of its Key Personnel has a relevant professional membership and/or accreditation applicable to the CLW scope. For example
•Society for Ecological Restoration Australasia (SERA)
•Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR)
•Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) assessor
