Forestry Corporation of NSW Pulplog and Sawlog Parcels Grafton Region RFP - FC2111

FCNSW (Grafton Management Area) has two parcels of wood for sale for the next three years. Parcel one being for 10 000 tonnes of pulplogs and parcel two being for 20 000 tonnes of sawlog. These sales will continue through till the 31^st July 2024. FCNSW will also be offering a larger volume of timber at a later date to follow on after these two parcels.

 

The sale process will be a two stage process, the first stage being this RFP. Proponents who FCNSW assess to be the most suitable may be progressed to stage two.

 

Proponents are requested to fill in the forms in the RFP and submit their proposals prior to the closing date of the 6^th August 2021. Alternative proposals are welcome and will be assessed alongside conforming proposals. It is FCNSW’s intention to award and begin deliveries by the 1^st October 2021 but can also be altered to suit the successful proponents requirements.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

Proponents must meet all Safety, Financial, operational and process mandatory requirements as advised in the RFP.

 

Proponents will be required to provide detail and evidence of all the mandatory requirements as well as pricing for the proposed parcels.

Stage one RFP proposal applications will close on the 6^th August 2021.

Stage two is likely to commence on the 27^th August 2021.

Award date is targeted for the 17^th September 2021.

Contract commencement targeted for the 1^st October 2021.
