EOI to participate in tender for the provision of Traffic Management Services.
This scope for the Traffic Management Services covers requirements and objectives for the provision of Traffic Management Services (Works) to Sydney Water which include the following activities:
Supply of Traffic Management Services
Sydney Water performs a range of maintenance and upgrading activities on its water and sewer infrastructure assets. Work is performed by different divisions of the Sydney Water:
a) Maintenance teams
b) Civil Projects
c) Delivery Management and
d) Regional Delivery Consortia (RDC’s)
These groups generally perform reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and upgrade activities across the entire Sydney Water Area of Operations.
In cases some of the activities required traffic control services which need to ensure the safe movement of traffic and the protection of pedestrians, property, and workers in the vicinity of the Client’s work area of operations. The need for traffic control is dependent on the location of the activity and its proximity to traffic.
- provision of appropriately skilled and trained operators.
- delivery of the requirement plant and equipment to the job site; and
- liaising with Sydney Water principal contractors to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective delivery.

Conditions for Participation
If selected to participate in this sourcing event Tenderers must have:
• Completed self-registration in Ariba (via Sydney Water’s website).
• Evidence of a safety system (policies and procedures) that meets Sydney Water’s Tier 1 WHS requirements
o AS4801/AS/NZS/ISO45001; OR
o NSW government WHS management system and auditing guidelines - 6th Edition; OR o Office of Federal Safety Commission (OFSC accreditation); AND
o Safety Prequalification Assessment
• Minimum of five years’ experience providing Traffic Management Services to an Australian Government Organisation with similar operations.
