EOI : Art Gallery of NSW, Ticketing Systems – Online and in Gallery Channels - EOI - AGNSW0930-1

The Art Gallery of NSW (the Gallery) is a significant cultural organisation and a major tourism destination for local, interstate and international visitors. The Gallery is open to the public 7 days a week. The Gallery is only closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday. The visitation level at the Gallery averages around 1.3 million visitors per year.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) is to seek suitable suppliers for the procurement of a new ticketing solution that will service both online and in Gallery ticketing sales channels.

The EOI forms stage 1 of the process, with the outcome allowing the gallery to selected a short list of suppliers. These suppliers will then be invited to submit a request for tender that will form stage 2 of the process, to be issued in early January 2021.

The overall goal of this project is to deliver to the Gallery a modern, innovative, fit for purpose ticket sales solution across online and in Gallery channels.

The implementation of the selected system is planned to take place between March 2021 – August 2021.

The contractor must be able to meet the timeline and supply the following services to deliver the project:

• Project management through all phases of planning and implementation of the project,
• Build systems in conjunction with Gallery subject matter experts,
• Provide support services (during and post project),
• Undertake system integrations with other Gallery business systems, supply hardware (or recommend appropriate hardware to purchase),
• Staff training, Gallery specific reporting and analytics. 

This EOI forms stage 1 of the process and invites interested suppliers to submit a response, by the closing date. Suppliers meeting the stage 1 criteria will then be invited to present the offering via an online session. A final selection of successful suppliers will then be invited to participate in stage 2, the request for tender process in early 2021.
