NPWS is seeking proposals from experienced food and beverage operators for the management of the Fitzroy Falls Café facility under a lease for a proposed term of 5 years with a 5-year option.
The café facility is within the award-winning Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre which is located a short walk from the magnificent 80m high Fitzroy Falls. Visitors to this well-known attraction in the Southern Highlands enjoy stunning views of the falls, cliffs and plateaus just 150m from the Visitor Centre. Opportunities for bird watching, hiking and other recreational activities abound.
Suitably qualified operators are invited to submit proposals for the operation of the premises that focus on the provision of quality visitor services and experiences, and the promotion of the environmental and cultural conservation values of the site.
The Preferred Respondent will have extensive experience in operating and managing a food and beverage or events business. NPWS is looking for skills in marketing and an ability to work collaboratively with NPWS in the ongoing conservation and maintenance of the site.
All proposals should give consideration to the environmental, cultural and heritage conservation values of the site.
