To provide a full occupational hygiene service such that Soil Conservation Services (SCS) can focus on construction responsibilities only. It is the intent of this engagement that all measures associated with occupational health and hygiene to protect workers on-site is the sole responsibility of the successful provider.

Ottery Arsenic Mine and Tent Hill Tin Mine are located 3kms apart on the same Tent Hill Road off Wellington Vale Road 5kms east of Emmaville.

Delivery & Access
Deliver goods or services to Gate B. Access to all gates is sealed however semi-trailers and floats can only turn around at Gate B. Gravel construction access only beyond all gates, suitable for rigids and light vehicles only.
Call on UHF 11 upon approach to Gate B to notify that you intend to enter site.
For the purposes of quoting the following is assumed:
Total Project workers to be serviced: 20 (14 plant operators, 6 field)
Project Duration: 23 weeks (115 days)
The number of actual workers and the duration may increase, and consideration needs to be given to service any such increases.
Operators are managed through a Dry Decontamination Process. Field workers are to be managed using a Wet Decontamination Process.
The successful contractor is to undertake the following which are detailed in Part D - Statement of Requirements:
•Prepare and deliver induction package
•Travel to site at the commencement of each week and from site at the end of each week
•Occupational Hygienist field work
•Decontamination Unit area management – wet decontamination trailer and dry decontamination unit
•Provision and cleaning of all occupation hygiene related PPE for all project staff
•Mask fit tests
•Dust monitoring
•Air monitoring reports
•Plant & equipment clearance
•Medical assessments
•Provision of wet decontamination trailer
