Tender Details
Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for T44-23, Paul Keating Park Play – Design and Construct.
Paul Keating Park is Bankstown’s premier public space, that is a favourite space for many locals and is situated in the Bankstown Civic Precinct. The Civic Precinct contains the Bankstown Court House Reserve, Council Chambers, the Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre (BLaKC), and the soon to be completed Western Sydney University. This site is bounded by Jacobs St, Rickard Rd, Chapel Rd and The Mall. A new South West Sydney Metro Station is also being constructed.
The Paul Keating Park Masterplan, completed in 2020, responds to this future trajectory, focusing on the Civic Precinct, the centrepiece of Bankstown CBD, to revitalise open space offerings whilst also addressing the current challenges of the site. Paul Keating Park Play is the first stage of execution of the Masterplan.
A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request and attached Services Brief, inclusive of supporting technical documentation.
Council will be holding a non-compulsory tender briefing via MSTeams at 12:30pm on Wednesday 14 December 2022.
