Tender Details

The NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced businesses relating to the provision of ‘Powered, Personnel Mitigation Equipment’ (PPME) across all areas of regional NSW.

The objective is to engage a provider of PPME including Chainsaws, Brushcutters, Blower Vacs and Polesaws who has the capability to supply the specified equipment as set out in attachment: ‘ESS-823-2022 Powered Personnel Mitigation Equipment’. Complete servicing and maintenance of new and existing PPME, spare parts for all equipment, PPME kits, required reporting, subcontractor compliance as well as product training will all be incorporated into a new agreement.

Responding businesses are required to have the resources and network of distributors/agents within regional NSW, to partner with the RFS, providing an unparalleled quality of goods and services to our organisation.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

A MANDATORY supplier briefing will be held via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, 21/12/2022 between the hours of 1pm – 3pm. Invitations to be sent only to the suppliers who expressed a desire to participate in the RFQ process.
