Sydney Water is issuing a tender for Supply and Delivery of the following bulk chemicals used in the treatment of potable water and wastewater:

1.Ferric Chloride

2.Aluminium Sulphate

3.Sodium Bisulphite

4.Hydrated Lime

5.Sulphuric acid

6.Ferric Sulphate

7.Ethanol

8.Methanol

9.Liquid Sugar

10.Aqua Ammonia

11.Magnesium Hydroxide

12.Sodium Ascorbate

13.Calcium Hypochlorite

14.Potassium Permanganate

15.Sodium Bicarbonate

16.Acetic Acid

17.Citric Acid

Interested suppliers must also be prepared to submit a detailed write-up addressing their ability to satisfy the minimum criteria given below: 

1.Work Health and Safety systems accredited to or capable of being accredited to the following standards (evidence required):

•AS4801/AS/NZS/ISO45001; OR

•NSW government WHS management system and auditing guidelines - 6th Edition; OR

•Office of Federal Safety Commission (OFSC accreditation)

2.Demonstrated stability of financial performance and preparedness to disclose financial details for Sydney Water to make an assessment of the financial standing of the supplier

3.Significant presence or business operations in Australia with capability to provide 24 x 7 service response.
