Tender Details
This Request for Tender seeks tenders from qualified audit firms capable of delivering external audit services to the Auditor-General for NSW (Auditor-General) for Western Sydney University and its controlled entities.
The Auditor-General (the Principal) will enter into a contract in the form of the ‘Agreement to Provide Auditing Services’ (the Head Agreement) with the successful tenderer to provide external audit services to the Principal.
The contract will cover the audits of the financial years ending 31 December 2021 to 31 December 2023, with an option to extend for the 31 December 2024 and 31 December 2025 financial years.

Additional Information
To access additional information referred to in the RFT, tenderers will need to sign and return the Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement to procurement@audit.nsw.gov.au.
Upon receiving the signed agreement, the Audit Office will release the additional information.
Attend Tender Briefing Session
Tenderers are strongly encouraged to attend the virtual tender briefing session as this will provide an opportunity to seek clarifications on this complex audit environment from the Auditee directly. To receive an invitation to the virtual tender briefing session, prospective tenderers must pre-register by returning the successfully completed Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement to the Tender Contact Person before 10am Thursday 7 October 2021.
Conditions for Participation
Availability to Commence Audit This Year Access
The successful tenderer must have capacity to complete planning and interim audit procedures in year one by 17 December 2021.
Third Party Information Security Self-Assessment
It is a mandatory requirement to complete an online Third Party Information Security self-assessment by the tender closing date.
For tenderers that have previously submitted a self-assessment, please contact procurement@audit.nsw.gov.au to request access to review, update and re-submit your previous survey response.
The self-assessment only needs to be completed once by a tenderer, even if tendering for multiple requests for tenders.
The need to complete a Third Party Security Assessment may be waived if a tenderer has previously completed it in the last 12 months. This is at the sole discretion of the Principal and Tenderers will be advised when they send through their contact details.
For tenderers that have never completed the Third Part Information Security self-assessment, please forward the following details to procurement@audit.nsw.gov.au to obtain access to the online self-assessment survey:

- ABN
- Name and email address of the person who will complete the on-line assessment.
