North Coast Biodiverse Carbon Market Partnership Services This process invites private sector carbon service providers to submit a response to North Coast Local Land Services (LLS) that would: 1. Progress the implementation of approximately 500 hectares of mixed environmental (biodiverse carbon) plantings across 25-30 properties: 2. Support LLS to deliver a concierge service which aims to optimize quadruple bottom line co benefits and assist North Coast customers to more readily understand their carbon market opportunities and to make their participation in the market easier and more streamlined. North Coast LLS seeks to partner with suitably qualified and experienced carbon service provider/s to establish a panel of suppliers who can deliver timely carbon project development and/or aggregation services for North Coast LLS customers over a one to two year period. North Coast LLS is seeking the supply of carbon market services for the following Clean Energy Regulator/Emissions Reduction Fund methods: • Reforestation by environmental or mallee plantings FullCAM • Human-induced regeneration of a permanent even-aged native forest V1.1 • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions by feeding nitrates to beef cattle • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions by feeding nitrates to milking cows • Animal effluent management • Measurement of soil carbon sequestration in agricultural systems • Avoided clearing of native regrowth • Native forest from managed regrowth • Avoided deforestation • Tidal restoration of blue carbon ecosystems. Carbon market providers need to meet the following essential requirements: 1. Current Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) 2. Current Member of Carbon Market Institute (CMI) 3. Current Signatory to the voluntary Australian Carbon Industry Code of Conduct – June 2021 (ACICoC) 4. Meet fit and proper test, that is, has the tenderer been subject to investigation, had memberships and/or accreditations removed or suspended due to breaches and/or non-compliance with relevant carbon industry and other market regulations.
