Sydney Water is considering issuing a tender for the West Camden Water Recycling Plant – Stage 3 Amplification.
Sydney Water provides water and wastewater services to customers located in its area of operations covering Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Illawarra. Sydney Water performs a range of maintenance and upgrading activities on its water and sewer infrastructure assets.
Sydney Water seeks relationships with suppliers that recognise and constantly drive to deliver quality goods and services at the optimal price.
We are seeking Expression of Interest (“EoI”) from businesses interested in delivering the design and construction phases of the West Camden Water Treatment Plant – Stage 3 Amplification.
The objective of the Expression of Interest is to select a short list of candidates for a subsequent Request for Tender (“RfT”) process. The RfT will select suitable candidates(s) for firstly the design phase and then the construct phase, under an NEC4 Engineering and Construct Contract.

Sydney Water operates pre-qualification processes and only invites successful participants through to participation in tender activities. To be considered for the RfT, you must provide responses to these questions in writing to the contact person indicated on this listing well in advance of the Expected Issue Date, plus download and complete the Excel registration form. Estimated timeframe Registration after the advertised window may be processed, at Sydney Water’s absolute discretion.
If late registrations are accepted, all deadlines will be maintained. 1. Quality Management System certification to AS/NZS ISO 9001 2. Occupational Health and Safety Management System accreditation 3. Environmental Management System certification to AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 4. Experience of the Applicant a. Minimum 2 brownfield design and construct wastewater projects of similar scale and complexity, involving both liquid and solids streams delivered in the last 10 years. b. At least two projects >$100M delivered, in the last 5 years, in any infrastructure segment. Successful responses of these questions are required to qualify for the EoI process.
