Laser and Radar Based Speed Measuring Devices and Radar Detector Detector Devices for NSW Police. - 0301658

Tenders are invited on behalf of NSW Police from suitably qualified organisations for the Supply of Laser and Radar Based Speed Measuring Devices and Detectors of Illegal Detection Devices for NSW Police, in accordance with the respective Specification requirements and the terms and conditions contained in the Request for Tender for the following Devices:

• Laser based speed measuring devices (Lidar);
• Radar based speed measuring devices – True Doppler
• Devices to detect illegal detectors of speed measuring devices

Samples to be submitted for EvaluationTenderers are required to submit by prior appointment two (2) samples of each device tendered, prior to or by no later than the closing date of tenders (viz 8 Feb 2006) for testing and evaluation purposes. (Refer RFT for details concerning lodgement of samples.)

Police Vehicles Available for Inspection Prospective tenderers are advised that two (2) fully equipped NSW Police vehicles will be made available on 18 and 19 January 2006 respectively for inspection to allow tenderers to gain an appreciation of the vehicles and mounting equipment configuration within the vehicles. Interested organisations will be allowed to take measurements to assist in compiling their tender response. (Refer RFT for details of times, venues and contact details for arrangements to gain entry into Police site.)

Lodgement of tender:

Your completed tenders should be lodged as allowed in the RFT documents, however they may usually be lodged electronically via this web page.
