Maluga Park Wetland Improvement - T46-14

The scope of works aims at improving water quality entering the site and enhancing water circulation within the Park’s Ponds to maximise the quality of habitat and the general amenity and asthetic of the area.

The works generally include:

·         Improvement of park amenity and aesthetics;

·         Trenching, backfilling, regrading of embankments and revegetation;

·         Supply and installation of drainage systems;

·         Supply and installation of pump;

·         Construction of embankment;

·         Construction of bioretention system;

·         Construction of new viewing area.

A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of the Request.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Tenderers are reminded that a compulsory Tender Briefing will be held on site at the Woods Road entrance, Birrong at 10:00am on Thursday 10 July 2014.

Council will not consider a Tender lodged by a Tenderer who fails to sign the attendance sheet at this briefing, or fails to ensure that a representative of the Tenderer signs the attendance sheet on its behalf.
