Tender Details

Ground Maintenance and Bushfire Risk Mitigation Program – Mowing Works - P21-2923 NSW Soil Conservation Service (SCS) is seeking vegetation maintenance services for the delivery of an annual mowing program for properties within the Greater Sydney Area. Services to include mowing, slashing, brush cutting and weed control in accordance with site-specific scopes of work. Square metre (m²) rates to be provided in accordance with Schedule A - Services of attached Services Contract - Grounds Maintenance and Bushfire Risk Mitigation Program - Mowing Works. Mowing and brush cutting required to ensure groundcover vegetation, primarily grasses, is maintained to high aesthetic standards throughout specified areas. Groundcover vegetation will be mown to a height of no less than 50 mm to minimise potential for surface scouring and erosion. Groundcover vegetation will not exceed a height of greater than 300 mm throughout specified areas. Where possible, grass will be kept green and uniform, adhering to topographic characteristics of specified areas. Vegetation is to be mown and brush cut where specified at a frequency of eight (8) servicing rounds per financial year. Heritage works areas identified in scope of works documentation is to be maintained fortnightly, unless specified otherwise. For further detail, refer to Attachment 1 in attached Services Contract. Contractors will be required to complete Site Worksheets for each round of servicing. Site Worksheets will be completed and submitted to SCS digitally via the GoCanvas mobile forms application and will include: i. Serviced property details ii. Contractor details including business name and operator signature iii. Before and after photographs of works undertaken iv. Contractor comments relating to works undertaken and work-related issues v. Work start and finish times Access, onboarding and training for the GoCanvas application will be provided by SCS during contractor engagement and induction. SCS applies a mandatory evaluation procedure where goods and services involve any onsite work component. Evidence must be provided for the following in tender submissions: • Written WHS Policy • Safe operating procedures, SWMS or RA for each item of plant/equipment or process • Documented incident investigation procedure • Procedure to ensure plant registered, maintained, operators licensed • Maintain records of training & induction • Certificates of Currency (must provide) - Public Liability (minimum $10M) - Workers Compensation - Motor Vehicle/ Plant/Equipment (where required) • PIN or WHS offence in last 5 years • WHS incidents reported to SafeWork in the last 3 years • LTI (LTIFR calculated from Tenderer response) Tenderers must demonstrate experience, reliability and successful performance and timing in providing similar services. Tenderers must demonstrate capability to meet the requirements specified in Services Contract - Grounds Maintenance and Bushfire Risk Mitigation Program - Mowing Works and associated attachments.
