The Project involves construction of a new Regional Police Station in Goulburn, located within the grounds of the NSW Police Academy located on the eastern side of McDermott Drive.

The build site is approximately 6,000m2, proposed to be a two-storey building of approximately 3,300m2 GLA, on-grade carparking for approximately 80 vehicles and comprises the following works:

• site preparation and removal of sundry items
• construction of the new two-storey Police station, including custodial areas, various command departments, staff facilities and amenities
• construction of on-grade carparking and upgrade to the service entry gate and service road
• new substation and relocation of existing telecommunication services.

The service road leading into the Goulburn Police Academy site is to the south of McDermott Drive, an on-grade student carpark lies to the east and a culvert to the north of the site. The site is presently undeveloped.

Note that this is a brief overview of the proposed contract and the scope of work.  More details will be included in the Request for Tender (RFT) documents provided to organisations that are invited to submit tenders as a result of this EOI process.
