In 2016 Sydney Opera House launched a new website using the Adobe Experience Manager content management system. When the site was developed all of the business logic from SOH’s eCommerce platform, Tessitura, was built into the CMS application. This was not optimal for performance and took development focus away from implementing new features. 

 

The Website Middleware project is looking to create a maintainable and extensible integration layer between Tessitura and SOH’s digital platforms (in particular the website) allowing us to increase performance and decouple Tessitura from the CMS, allowing us to become CMS agnostic.
