Tender Details
The Temporary Gallery Space on lower level two of the South Building houses changing Artwork displays and major exhibitions. The current lighting solutions made up of mounted lights and ceiling downlights in this space have reached the end of the asset’s life cycle.
This project is designed to cover the supply of specialist gallery lighting that meets the minimum light technical requirements. The proposed light fitting solutions must include:
- Track mounted spot lights with interchangeable lenses. Wall washers to achieve up to 800 LUX with high uniformity.
- Contour framing of artwork using shutters and/or lenses.
- The light fittings shall have compatible track adaptors that work with the Erco 240V lighting tracks being installed in the gallery.
- General downlights to be part of the entire solution.
- Warranty period: minimum 5 years or 50,000 hours, whichever comes first.
