Blue Lake Boardwalk and Trail Works – Boardwalk and Balustrade - P22-4898

"Soil Conservation Service (SCS) invites you to quote for the fabrication of the Blue Lake Boardwalk and viewing platforms at Jenolan Caves.

Please note that all tender responses must be accompanied by a methodology and a timeline (Gant chart preferred) for the completion of the project.

When tendering, please read the following documents:

•Blue Lake Boardwalk design drawings*

•Blue Lake Boardwalks materials schedule

•NPWS balustrade for tender*

•Blue Lake Boardwalk hardwood timber

*note where there are discrepancies between Barnson’s Blue Lake Boardwalk design drawings and the NPWS balustrade document, the Blue Lake Boardwalk design drawings document is the overriding document.

Departures from materials schedule or design need to be approved by SCS in writing.

Please note:

•If required, accommodation & meals will be supplied,

•All concrete works to be completed outside of this contract.

•Site hours are Monday to Friday 0700-1800, Saturday 0700-1600,

•SCS has been provided with Two compound areas. Storage space will be limited at times due to trades needing to share these areas.

•SCS is providing all site signage and hoarding.

•Marketing opportunities must be approved by SCS before release.

•Facilities such as toilets and meal areas are provided on-site.

•Waste disposal will be managed by SCS.

•All site personnel will have to undertake a SCS site induction (approximately 1 hr), delivery drivers are exempt.

•Hardhats, long sleeve hi vis shirts, and long pants are mandatory on site.

Works must be completed by the end of July 2023."
