Proposed Tender Details
Sydney Water is issuing an Expression of Interest for ECI, Detailed Design and Construction of Refresh Vaucluse Diamond Bay Project.
Sydney Water’s wastewater system on the South Head peninsula does not presently undergo wastewater treatment processes before discharging into the environment. To address this issue, Sydney Water proposes to construct wastewater infrastructure facilities at Vaucluse and Diamond Bay which will redirect the untreated wastewater collected during dry weather through the existing wastewater network to the Bondi treatment plant for treatment and discharge.
This would be achieved by constructing and operating two new wastewater pumping stations at Parsley Bay and Eastern Avenue Reserve, 3.6 km of new wastewater pipelines and other ancillary infrastructures in the Vaucluse and Diamond Bay areas to achieve the project outcomes.
