- TfNSW anticipates multiple contracts may be awarded at the conclusion of this tender;
- TfNSW will have an external Probity Advisor is engaged for this procurement; and
- Individual opportunities will be capped at $1Million.

After an initial tender exploring options for universal quantum computing, TfNSW acknowledges that universal quantum computing is still a number of years away for commercial use. However, there are opportunities in building bespoke hardware designed to address specific use cases.
We are now looking to couple the existing investment with further market options that will deliver short to medium term benefits in the quantum technology field.
This tender will concerntrate on bespoke hardware to complement our existing investments that focus on universal hardware and software.
Please note, this opportunity for research and development may, consistent with the NSW Government's Enforceable Procurement Provisions (EPPs), include a provision for TfNSW to preference Australian & New Zealand Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
