Pre-qualifying potential contractors for a design and construct engagement to fabricate and install an innovative floating curtain solution to curb "Cold Water Pollution" for the releases into the Macquarie River. This first of its kind solution integrates mechanical, civil, automation and underwater engineering components to create a floating/ flexible curtain around the Burrendong dam intake tower. This system will enable to extract water from the warmer upper stratified layer of the dam and release downstream into the Macquarie River.
