Registrations of Interest (ROI) are invited for the Great Western Highway Upgrade Program - Medlow Bath Roadworks Package from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme at Category R3 for roadworks, Category B2 for bridgeworks and Financial Level F75.
The work involves the construction of a dual carriageway upgrade of approximately 1.2km of the Great Western Highway at Medlow Bath between Railway Parade and approximately 330 metres south of Bellevue Crescent. This includes:
- an upgrade of the Bellevue Crescent intersection with new turning lanes, U-turn bay and traffic signals
- a new right turn lane providing access to the Hydro Majestic Hotel
- improvements on Railway Parade to formalise parking provisions, U-turns and rail customer parking
- new indented bus bays on both sides of the highway close to Medlow Bath Station
- new shared path for pedestrians and cyclists on the western side of the highway
The successful tenderer will be selected through a two phase procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to respond to this ROI opportunity. A short list of applicants will then be selected from this ROI process and invited to tender for the work.
Prospective applicants will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to access the ROI documents.
All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).

A briefing session for the potential ROI Applicants will be held between 1-3pm on Wednesday 9 March 2022 by videoconference. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming ROI Application.

By submitting an ROI for this project you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.
It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out.
