Tender Details
The objectives of this project are to:

Provide personnel access via stairs to the southern spillway below the sector gate, further minimising the need to utilise the man-box suspended on the cableway. New stairs and landings, incorporating a retractable lower stair section electrical hoist operated will provide personnel access onto the lower section of the southern spillway.
- Eliminate strain and exertion hazards associated with the current chain block hoisting mechanisms for retractable stairs and ladders on the northern and southern spillways. The existing manual chain block for the retractable section of the northern spillway access will be replaced with an electric chain hoist. The existing manual chain block for raising and lowering the access ladder to the southern spillway upstream of the sector gate will be replaced with an electric chain hoist. The southern spillway access ladder landing platforms will be aligned to remove a trip hazard.

A MANDATORY pre tender briefing will be held on site on Tuesday 31/1/2017 commencing at 12.30pm. A Map of the location is attached with the closest airport being Canberra. All personnel to come with appropriate PPE.
