Central Coast Council / Budgewoi Boardwalk – Construction - CPA/272933

 

Wyong Shire Council (Council) is proposing to undertake foreshore enhancement works, for an area of land along the eastern foreshore of Budgewoi Creek.

 

The scope of works generally includes:

 

• Provision of a new concrete pontoon

 

• Installation of gangway

 

• Provision of a new fixed timber jetty

 

• Replacement of existing footpaths adjacent to the proposed works; and

 

• Maintenance and rebuilding of rock revetment and section of seawall at the Site.

 

 

 

Full details of the scope of work and any exclusions are included in the attached Specification (Attachment 2) and Drawings (Attachment 3).

 

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Site located at the western end of Ocean Street, Budgewoi , commencing at 10am on Tuesday 5 April, 2016

 

This is combined lump sum and schedule of rates contract based on AS2124-1992 General Conditions of Contract. The contract period for completion is 20 weeks from the date of the Letter of Acceptance of the Tender.

 

The tendered lump sums and rates must include all costs necessary to provide the works under the Contract, including without limitation the cost of all personnel, materials, plant and equipment, fuel, consumables, mobilisation, demobilisation, support systems, overheads, profit, travelling time, expenses, disbursements, fees and charges and all other associated costs.

 

The fee and rates are fixed and not subject to escalation or review

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.
