Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as the basis for entering into a separate Contract with each of the successful tenderers, on a schedule of rates basis.  Contractors will be ranked in accordance with a “value for money” tender assessment. The panel will consist of at least 2 contractors.  Allocation of the work will be in accordance with the ranking order and subject to the contractors’ availability and on going demonstrated performance.  The quantities of work required may vary significantly according to work programmes and weather conditions each year.

This is a FULL SERVICE Contract, and includes all costs necessary to provide the works under the Contract including without limitation the cost of all personnel, materials, plant and equipment, fuel, consumables, mobilisation, demobilisation, support systems, overheads, profit, travelling time, expenses, disbursements, fees and charges and all other associated costs.
