Central Coast Council / Road and Drainage Reconstruction – Elouera Ave and Nicoli Cl, Buff Point - CPA/285840

Central Coast Council (Council) is proposing to undertake Road and Drainage Reconstruction in Elouera Ave and Nicoli Cl, Buff Point. The works have been identified as required to address drainage, road width and flooding issues.

The scope of works generally includes but is not limited to: 

• Road reconstruction including new pavement and K&G

• Provision of new stormwater drainage (including 2 stormwater detention basins)

• Detection and relocation of public utility services

• Replacement of existing driveways

• Provision of new signage and line marking

• Construction of new pram ramps

• All geotechnical inspections and testing

Compliance with all environmental mitigations and conditions imposed on the Works

Full details of the scope of work and any exclusions are included in the attached Specification (Attachment 1) and Drawings (Attachment 2).

This is combined lump sum and schedule of rates contract based on AS2124-1992 General Conditions of Contract. The contract period for completion is 15 weeks from the Date of Possession of Site granted,inclusive of a Mandatory 2 week Christmas Shutdown Period at Christmas (25/12/2017 – (08/01/2018). Refer Special Clause SC-40 for the definition of the Date of Possession of Site.

The tendered lump sums and rates must include all costs necessary to provide the works under the Contract, including without limitation the cost of all personnel, materials, plant and equipment, fuel, consumables, mobilisation, demobilisation, support systems, overheads, profit, travelling time, expenses, disbursements, fees and charges and all other associated costs.

The fee and rates are fixed and not subject to escalation or review

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with the Preferred Tenderer.
