Central Coast Council / Summerland Point Reserve Internal Roadway and Carpark Construction - CPA/271462

The internal access road and car & trailer parking areas are currently in poor condition. To prevent further deterioration, a restoration of the existing internal access road and carpark surface is required. The expansion and formalisation of the car and trailer parking will reduce damage created by casual parking on the surrounding natural areas, as well as improve safety and circulation within Summerland Point Reserve. The drainage upgrade will also improve the quality of storm water runoff into Boat Harbour.

The proposed contract involves civil construction works to improve access to the facilities of Summerland Point Reserve, as well as improve and increase the number of available car and trailer parking spaces. Works include:

• Upgrade reconstruction works of the internal access road off Cams Boulevard,

• Extension and upgrade construction works of car and trailer parking that support the boat ramp and recreational facilities within the Reserve and Boat Harbour, and
   
• Extension and upgrade construction works of the overflow car park (off Kullaroo Road).
