NSW Department of Communities and Justice / Provision of Multi Fill Depositor Machine for Windsor Cook Freeze - Prj_2589 - RFX Notice

Corrective Services is currently developing and improving its existing Cook Freeze Facility located within the Francis Greenway Complex (Formally known as John Morony Correctional Complex). The Cook Freeze Facility requires new Equipment to achieve consistency and quality during the blind process of its customer.

The RFx is for Suppliers to supply and install the following:

• 2 x Volumetric automatic meal depositing filling machine for solids

• 1 x in-line fully automatic depositor system for liquids

The new equipment must consist but not limited to the following:

 • Equipment’s to maintain packing speed of at least up to 45 to 60 meal trays per minute to work on a single-lane conveyor with start-stop motion.

• An Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) or Human Machine Interface (HMI) controls all electrical and pneumatic components of the filler.

• Equipment compatibility to work with variety of conveying systems.

• The new meal equipment should be designed to cleanly and accurately dispense pre-set quantities of meal components into aluminium foil trays (and have capability to work with different types of trays such as c-pet trays, paper trays, bowls etc.

• The installation of the equipment’s should be turn-key with all processes automated with Human Machine Interface (HMI) that presents information to an operator or user about the state of a process to accept and implement the operators control instructions.

• Post Warranty Services Plan for five (5) Years.
